Theater director Earnest Jeanine (Amanda Seyfried) is tasked with re-producing her former mentor’s most famous work, the opera “Salome.” Haunted by dark and disturbing memories of her past, Jeanine allows her repressed trauma to color her present as she returns to the world of opera after so many years away.
