He’s smart. He’s cool. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. During season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas. His son David Zayas Jr. stands in for his father in some shots, as the two look so much alike. Dexter, seen throughout season 1, has a large scar on his left side. Later in season 2, the scar moved to the right side, leaving the left side unmarked… Dexter Morgan: I lived in the darkness for too long. This will be my first IMDb review, not a day goes by without me visiting IMDb to check out reviews of movies or TV series that I watch, I watch a lot of movies and series. It happened in my life that I couldn’t sleep after watching the series. I watched Prison Break, Heroes and many more. Prison Break and the first series of Heroes were amazing. They inspired me so much that I got a tattoo on my body. However, both series were released as soon as they moved to the next season. Heroes was a big disappointment, but DEXTER.. My God, series after series makes me so curious for the next episode.. damn season 4. I couldn’t sleep all night after watching it. I spent the weekend watching back to back episodes. In the beginning with Dexter (Michael C. Hall), his darkness was on edge, he played the role so well that sometimes I wonder if he is the same in real life, but then I found out that Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) is his real wife, who plays his sister in this series. Hell, Debra is such a messed up character, mostly controlled by the people around her, that she always does something bad, but she always gets credit for the good things too. I love the part where you find out what’s going on in Dexter’s mind when he thinks about something or when someone talks to him, and also the part where he talks to his dead father, Harry. (he only thinks about what his father would say in such a situation). Every episode/character and every season is so well written and acted that it’s hard to find fault with them. My favorite characters are Dexter (pretty obvious), Rita and Vince Masuka, hell, Vince is so funny that he only says one word in the entire episode and I find that really funny. I can’t wait for season 5 and I’m sure anyone who watched Dexter feels the same way as I do. (I apologize if my first review contains some mistakes and hurts anyone’s feelings)
